Manufacturing method of sealing vessel and radioactive waste sealing method by the sealing vessel

Description

A bottom plate to which a corrosion resistance material is explosion joined is secured, by welding, to the lower end of a cylindrical member made of a strength material. A lid is dropped and set on an upper opening of the cylindrical member made of a strength material, and an upper plate made of a corrosion resistant material is secured by explosion joining over the upper surface of the upper end of the cylindrical member and the lid. Subsequently, a corrosion resistant material is wound around the outer circumference of the cylindrical member with a margin and subjected to explosion joining, and the end of wound portion is shaped flat and then other corrosion resistant material is wound around and subjected to explosion joining. Subsequently, both ends of the corrosion resistant cylindrical member are shaped so as to align with the lower surface of the bottom plate and the upper surface of the upper plate to form a vessel assembly. The corrosion resistant upper plate of the vessel assembly is bored to remove the lid made of the strength material integrated with the vessel assembly to form a vessel main body. Then, corrosion of the vessel made of the strength material of the sealing vessel is prevented, and heat conduction is enhanced to improve a cooling effect. (N.H.)
