Stationary cylindrical-symmetrical states of the plasma in magnetic field
Description
Equilibrium states of collisionless plasma in its magnetic field are considered. The plasma is assumed to be electrically neutral consisting of electrons and protons, but since mobility of protons is negligibly small compared to that of electrons, the latter gives the main contribution to the magnetic field. Therefore, it is suffices to construct only the distribution function of electrons which move in it. The desired distribution function is obtained as a numerical solution of the corresponding equations. (authors)
