Description

Internal and External Dose Assessment on the Workers Involved in HANARO Management Division. The radiation exposure information is analyzed in terms of the collective dose, average dose, and measurable dose by individuals and by groups in HANARO Management Division from 1995 to 2008. Internal dose assessment of the domestic radiation workers has been conducted since 2003. The individuals working in HANARO Management Division were also assessed since then. This report analyzed the internal dose data from 2003 to 2008. It was found that some workers were received internal dose in 2004 and in 2007. The total amount of the internal dose was 3.04 mSv in 2004. Two workers were received over 2 mSv in 2007. That occurred while they were working to exchange the ion resin used for purification of the D2O system. The total amount of collective dose was 61.08 person-mSv from 1995 to 2008, and the annual average dose in that duration was 4.36 mSv. The average number of workers in HANARO Management Division was 54.6 and their individual annual average dose was 0.08 mSv. The annual average number of workers received measurable dose was 9.6, and their individual measurable dose was 0.45 mSv
