Description
The authors are concerned with the behaviour of HTR fuel elements in intermediate and final storage conditions and with achieving waste removal techniques. The need for HTR waste removal is first analysed and the strategy for it is introduced. The build-up of HTR fuel elements is then described and the sources for the release of nuclides from stored HTR fuel elements are examined. Intermediate storage and final storage of HTR fuel elements are described by demonstration work. (HAG)

Die Autoren beschaeftigen sich mit dem Verhalten von HTR-Brennelementen unter Zwischen- und Endlagerbedingungen sowie mit der Realisierung von Entsorgungstechniken. Zunaechst wird der HTR-Entsorgungsbedarf analysiert und die HTR-Entsorgungsstrategie vorgestellt. Dananch wird der Aufbau von HTR-Brennelementen beschrieben und die Quellen fuer die Freisetzung von Nukliden aus lagernden HTR-Brennelementen untersucht. Ausserdem werden Zwischenlagerung und Endlagerung von HTR-Brennelementen an Hand von Demonstrationsarbeiten beschrieben. (HAG)Additional details
