Element yields in 252Cf spontaneous fission determined from measured X-ray multiplicities
Description
The prompt element yields for 252Cf spontaneous fission were obtained from measurements of coincident multiple K X-rays. A model for X-ray emission was fitted to the rates at which various X-ray multiplicities were detected. An odd-even effect of (5+-4)% in the element yields was observed. (Auth.)
