Description

Sufficient difference of change under gamma irradiation of optical absorption spectra in UV-, visible and IR-regions are explained for crystals grown under various conditions using models of processes of counter migration or exchange of capture states of alkaline ions and protons dominating at doses less than 106 P and the processes fof migration of electrons and alkaline ions dominating at doses excleding 106 R. Reduction of initial state of optical absorption spectra during heating of irradiated quartz crystals above 350 deg C is explained yby thermoactivated return of alkaline ions and protons to initial capture states
