Silver complex compounds study with metronidazole by x-ray phase analysis method

Description
The process of silver (I) complex formation of silver with metronidazole has been studied by means of X-ray phase analysis. The x-ray diffraction pattern of silver complexes with metronidazole has been compared with x-ray diffraction pattern of a ligand and the complex forming metal. The main parameters of the X-ray diffraction patterns of the complexes differ from the parameters of the ligand and the complex forming metal, which indicates the formation of complex compounds that meet the requirements of the pharmacopoeia in terms of purity.
