Operation of a 10 m3 ICARUS detector module
Creators
Description
The 10 m3 ICARUS module, used in Pavia until July 1999 for cryogenic and mechanical tests, has been widely modified in order to reflect the final design of the ICARUS 600 t detector. After transportation to the Gran Sasso Laboratory, in February, 2000 it began recording high quality images of long (more than 3 m) ionising tracks in the sensitive Argon volume
