  • 1. Gosudarstvennyj Komitet po Ispol'zovaniyu Atomnoj Ehnergii SSSR, Moscow (Russian Federation). Inst. Atomnoj Ehnergii

Description

The description of an automated system for hydrogen content control in a coolant of a nuclear heating plant (NHP), is suggested. The main elements of the system are a gas probe with the hydrogen-penetrable membrane made of the Pd-Ru alloy and the Pd-SiO2-Si solid semiconductor sensor. The system tests in the NHP loop installation of the MR reactor were made. The reliable hydrogen detection in water was shown in the range of its concentration variation from 0.2 up to 10 kg-1xcm3 at coolant temperature ≅ 170 deg C. The measurement error was not greater than 10%
