Eco information 6. Influence of operation of the plants Jadrova vyradovacia spolocnost, a.s., on the environment, Locality of Mochovce, within June 2011

In this leaflet the results of monitoring of radioactive gaseous and liquid effluents into the Hron River as well as of radiation monitoring of Mochovce Liquid RAW Final Treatment Facility (FS KRAO) and Mochovce Radioactive Waste Repository (RU RAO) are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within March for FS KRAO were: 0.0085 MBq of beta and gamma radionuclides (0.0373 MBq for the period January - June 2011, that is 0.0466% of annually limit (AL)), and 0.104 MBq of alpha radionuclides for the period January - March 2011 (0.01% of AL), 0.21 MBq of 90Sr for the period January - March 2011 (0.01% of AL). The radioactive effluents into hydrosphere within a March 2011 for FS KRAO were 0.75 GBq of tritium (11.25 GBq for the period January - June 2011, that is 3.72% of AL), 0.073 GBq of corrosive and fission products (0.1144 GBq for the period January - June 2011, that is 2.933% of AL); and for RU RAO 2.081 MBq of tritium (3.674 MBq for the period January - June 2011, that is 0.037% of AL), 0.037 MBq of 137Cs (0.067 MBq for the period January - March 2011, that is 0.294% of AL), 0.077 MBq of 90Sr (0.077 MBq for the period January - March 2011, that is 0.032% of AL), 0.033 MBq of 60Co (0.061 MBq for the period January - June 2011, that is 0.272% of AL) and 0.005 MBq of239Pu (0.005 MBq for the period January - March 2011, that is 0.892% of AL). Volume of liquid effluents was 1228 m3 (2763 m3 for the period January - June 2011).
