Description
In the first part, the progress made in the production of massive and plated heavy steel plates is described. In the second part, an endeavour is made to demonstrate how the improvements in massive and plated steel plates can be used in the design of tubular heat exchangers.

Dans une premiere partie on presente les progres realises dans la production des toles fortes massives et plaquees. Dans la seconde partie, on essaye de montrer comment les ameliorations des toles massives et plaquees peuvent etre utilisees dans la conception des echangeurs de chaleur tubulaires.
