Determination of water consumption for various coolants of the water supply system at large power units of NPP

Description
The necessary amount of water for operation of NPP power unit with the capacity of 1000 MW has been determined under various coolants of the water supply system for Belarus conditions. It is shown that under NPP operation with an evaporating cooling tower the make up is necessary with water of 24.4 mln m3 per year. And under operation with a dry cooling tower it is 1.82 mln m3 per year. (authors)
