Magnetic suscepti ility of Cr-Co-V and Cr-Fe-V ternary chromium base alloys
Description
Magnetic susceptibility and thermal expansion of alloys: Cr+1.41 at % Co, Cr+1.41 at % Co+0.77 at % V and Cr+0.34 at % Fe+0.78, 1.08, 1.63 at % V in the 77-400 K temperature range have been investigated. Separated is the impurity part Δsub(chi) of the magnetic alloy susceptibility caused by V, Fe and Co additions. Above the Neel temperature the Δsub(chi)(T) dependence is subwmitted to the Curve-Weiss la in all cases. The analysis of the results obtained shows that at low concentrations V atoms have in the Cr matrix the local magnetic moment approximately 1 μsub(B)
