Description

Superconducting, mechanical properties and structure of YBa2Cu3Oy ceramics doped by Ag(5, 8 and 30 mass.%) are studied. Composites of YBa2Cu3Oy with 30 mass.% Ag with density close to theoretical one are obtained by shock-wave compression. Temperature of transition into superconducting state is shown not to be changed with variation of quality of the added Ag (95 K). Resistance is reduced linearly with temperature. On the basis of X-ray phase analysis one has determined, that silver is in free state. Silver additions excess essentially the indices of mechanical characteristic of a composite containing 30% silver
