Irradiated fuel cycle
Description
The present status of the reprocessing industry is reviewed in its widest context and the following are discussed: general objectives of the industry, evolution of processes and equipment, safety procedures, radioactive waste management, the construction of reprocessing plants, transport of radioactive materials, and commercial organisation and funding. In conclusion future prospects are reviewed. (author)
