Description
Reflection spectra of single crystals of La1.85Sr0.15CuO4, YBa2Cu3O6.9, Bi2(Sr,Ca)3Cu2O8 and T12Ca2Ba2Cu3Ox are measured from far IR to UV region. The authors assign exciton bands in IR region to interband transitions by the calculation of energy band. Dielectric functions are determined from the spectra, which indicate importance of electron exciton interaction for pair formation mechanism
