Synthesis of mig-type electron guns for gyrotrons

Description
A synthesis method is used in the design of axially symmetrical guns in the moderate to high space charge regime. Self-consistent equations for the temperature limited emission case are used to represent the beam and solve the internal problem, under the requirement of laminar flow. The external problem is solved by integrating the equations with boundary conditions defined by the analytically extended solutions of the internal problem. This technique will be used in the development of INPE's gyrotron. (Author)

Usou-se um metodo de sintese para o projeto de canhoes axialmente simetricos em regimes moderados para altas cargas espaciais. Equacoes auto-consistentes para o caso de emissao limitada de temperatura sao usadas para representar o feixe e resolver o problema interno, sob escoamento laminar. O problema externo e resolvido integrando-se as equacoes com condicoes de contorno definidas pela solucao analitica extendida para o problema interno.
