Instability of high frequency perturbations in the structure with spatially separated plane electron-ion flows

Description
The wave properties of spatially separated electron-ion flows are investigated with the help of analytical and numerical methods. It is shown that the wave perturbations in such structure are unstable and the growth rates of instability can reach values about the electron plasma frequency. The dependences of the parameters of instability on the thickness and density of an electron flow are obtained
