Crystalline C60: Structure and triplet-excitation
Description
The symmetry of the molecule C60 not only is dazzling, but also has intriguing physical consequences for the solid material. By means of electron spin resonance spectroscopy (based on electron paramagnetic resonance or EPR) it has been made possible to study the structure and electronic excitations of crystalline C60. 3 figs., 5 refs
