Transverse gamma tomography

Description

An improvement to the transVerse gamma tomograph containing collimated detectors of emission radiation, which are connected with a computer through amplitude analyzer and interface, is proposed. In the above device the detector axis covers unequal distances in equal periods of time during a power stroke, that afterall leads to a non-uniform image matrix. In the proposed gamma tomograph measurements of radiation intensity is performed in unequeal periods of time. As a result, a space interval between neighbouring readouts remains constant on each project, and resolution remains equal along the whole tomogram area
