Condensate storage facility
Description
The present invention provides a condensate storage facility of a nuclear power plant capable of greatly extending the time for keeping plant endurability even upon occurrence of Station Black Out (SBO) and also excellent in view of location condition and economical property. Namely, a nuclear power plant generally comprises an integrated-type reactor building incorporating two reactors. A condensate storage facility thereof comprises a water source for ordinary use and water source for occurrence of severe accidents to be used in common between two reactors and emergency water sources disposed therebelow independently for the two reactors. Since the water source for ordinary use is used in common between the two plants, the total volume of the water source for ordinary use can be reduced compared with a case of independently disposing condensate storage vessels. The reduced amount can be kept in common for the water source for injecting to reactor cores upon occurrence of SBO. Endurability of the plants upon SBO can be improved without increasing the total volume of the water source. (I.S.)
