Investigation of the porous silicon photoluminescence with time resolution

Description

Porous silicon specimens are prepared by means of chemical etching. Three bands with different time characteristics are observed in luminescence spectra excited by nitrogen laser pulses. The spectral and kinetic features of 1.9 eV long-wave band enable to interpret it as emission of a silicon nanostructure
