Study of quasi-free production process for neutral kaons(K0) due to electromagnetic interactions
Description
The reaction γ + n→K0 + Λ is critically important for the study of strangeness production due to electromagnetic interactions. The measurement for the reaction near threshold is planned, and the setup and the optimum condition for operation of instruments were completed in the year 2001. The peak for K0 was clearly observed by the experiment for a carbon target performed in the year 2002. The number of K0 is counted to 100. (Y. Kazumata)
