Radiation-chemical synthesis of alkyl adamantanes with fluorinated side chain

Description
Studied is radiation-chemical alkylation of adamantane by hexafluoropropylene in the liquid phase using a solvent at the effect of Co60 γ-radiation. Effect of various parameters on the reaction rate is studied. Alkylation product accumulation kinetics is taken. A possible mechanism of reactions is discussed. All the products synthesized for the first time are separated in a pure form and identified. Their physico-chemical constants are presented
