Computer tomography of the normal larynx

Description
The normal computer tomographic anatomy of the larynx and neighbouring structures is illustrated. Special attention is paid to the preepiglottic and para-glottic spaces, which cannot be adequately demonstrated by any other method. The technique is discussed with examinations done on a cadaver and on patients. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Die computertomographische Normalanatomie des Larynx und der angrenzenden Strukturen wird dargestellt. Dabei wird insbesondere auf die Bedeutung der Computertomographie zur Beurteilung des praeepiglottischen und paraglottischen Raumes hingewiesen, die mit keiner anderen Methode zuverlaessig beurteilbar sind. Die Untersuchungstechnik wird anhand von Untersuchungen an einer Leiche und an Patienten diskutiert. (orig.)Additional details
