Basic ideas for a congested area
Description
From investigations for a specific case of supply the author drwas conclusions which are more or less generally applicable, and fixes limitations. It is a case of supply to a congested area with a maximum district-heating demand of about 2,300 Gcal/h. In view of the standardisation of nuclear stations a process of generation has to be aimed at which makes possible flexible matching to demand over the life of the installation. In the case of district heating supply from a heat-electric station the distance from the station to the centre of gravity of supply plays an important part. Here the author makes comparisons of different variants form the points of view of size of heat-electric station, type of cooling and heat carrier, in dependence on the distance of the heat-electric station. In addition he lists the problems in the use of the heat carriers hot water and steam in relation to generation in the heat-electric station and transmission over a distance. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Aus den Untersuchungen fuer einen konkreten Versorgungsfall zieht der Verfasser mehr oder weniger allgemein gueltige Folgerungen und zeigt Grenzen auf. Bei dem Versorgungsfall handelt es sich um ein Ballungsgebiet mit einem maximalen Fernwaermebedarf um 2.300 Gcal/h. In Anlehnung an die Standardisierung bei Kernkraftwerken ist ein Erzeugungsprozess anzustreben, der ueber die Lebensdauer der Anlage eine flexible Anpassung an den Bedarf erlaubt. Bei der Fernversorgung aus einem Heizkernkraftwerk (HKKW) spielt die Entfernung HKKW-Verbrauchsschwerpunkt eine dominierende Rolle. Hier vergleicht der Verfasser verschiedene Varianten bezueglich Groesse des HKKW, der Kuehlungsart und des Waermetraegers kostenmaessig. Er fuehrt eine Optimierung fuer den Waermetraeger, abhaengig von Entfernung des HKKW, durch. Ausserdem zeigt er die Probleme bei der Verwendung der Waermetraeger Heisswasser und Dampf in bezug auf die Erzeugung im HKKW und die Fernuebertragung auf. (orig.)Additional details
