Needle type adapter for lead-shield containers with integrated connecting pieces between liquid media, fissile material and eluate
Description
By means of the adapter a connection may be created between a sup(99m)Tc-generator in a lead container, a tank filled with, e.g. NaCl for elutriation and an evacuated eluate tank. The connecting channels e.g. needles, a non-pyrogenic oxygen filter, and a sterilizing filter are fully integrated into the lead adapter, i.e. encapsulated together with it. The adapter is mechanically connected with the lead container for the generator and forms a unit ready to be shipped. (DG)

Ueber den Adapter ist eine Verbindung zwischen einem Technetium-99M-Generator in einem Bleibehaeltnis und einem Elutionsmittelbehaelter mit z.B. NaCl, und einem evakuierten Eluatbehaelter herstellbar. In den Adapter aus Blei sind die Verbindungskanuelen, z.B. Nadeln, ein pyrogenfreies Sauerstoff-Filter und ein Sterilfilter voll integriert, d.h. mit ihm vergossen. Der Adapter wird mechanisch mit dem Bleibehaeltnis fuer den Generator verbunden und bildet eine versandfertige Einheit. (DG)Files
