Radiation-induced sensitization and UV effects in lithium fluoride TLD phosphor
Description
Radiation-induced sensitization in lithium fluoride which was earlier correlated to peak X (395 0C) is further explored. The effect of UV light on the bleaching of peak X and regeneration of other peaks at room temperature and at an elevated temperature are studied. The effect of UV bleaching of peak X on the γ-radiation-induced sensitization is investigated. (author)
