Structure factor of liquid aluminum by neutron diffraction
Creators

Description
The structure factor S(Q) of liquid aluminum has been measured in the temperature region 680 to 8400C, where at 7750C a discontinuity in the shear viscosity vs. temperature curve had previously been reported by Lihl et al. A Q-range from 0.5 to 17 A-1 has been covered. In contrast to observations by Okazaki et al. S(Q) has been found to change smoothly without alteration of its general shape
