Neutrino mixing in CHORUS/NOMAD

Creators

Description

Recent results from two short baseline experiments, CHORUS and NOMAD, on a search for νμ(νe) → ντ oscillation are reported. No evidence for the oscillation has been found from the search based on their full data samples. A neutrino mixing, νμ(νe) → ντ, is excluded down to sin22θ ∼ 10-4(10-2) for large Δ m2 at 90 % confidence level
