Internal dosimetry for mixed fission and activation products
Creators
Description
Details and specifications are presented for an internal dosimetry program for mixed fission and activation products for use in nuclear power reactor facilities. The standard specifies those requirements which are necessary for an internal dosimetry program which will supply full and correct information on which to base appropriate action and by which to measure and minimize internal exposure of individuals who may be exposed to mixed fission and/or activation products. Results are to be interpreted on the basis of biological models and calculation techniques recommended by the International Commission on Radiological Protection Task Group on Lung Dynamics
