Direct acceleration of electrons using single Hermite-Gaussian beam and Bessel beam in vacuum
Creators
Description
The longitudinal electric field Ez of Hermite-Gaussian laser beam or Bessel laser beam, concentrating on the axis, is favorable for using to directly accelerate electrons. The general characteristics of intense laser beam used to accelerate electrons along axis, the necessary conditions and the energy gain relations are discussed
