Optical transitions in the absorption fundamental edge range in laser-deposited thin films CuIn(Te0.15Se0.85)2

Description
Investigation into the structure of edge absorption of stoichiometric high-oriented CuIn (Te0.15Se0.85)2 films, produced by pulse laser evaporation is conducted. Coefficients of film-substrate system transmission and reflection are determined. Based on the analysis of CuIn (Te0.15Se0.85)2, film absorption coefficient spectral dependence it is ascertained, that an essential contribution to the edge absorption structure is made by direct permitted energy transitions
