Description

In this paper, it is shown that a current high-precision theoretical model for pion-deuteron elastic scattering at a few hundred MeV's predict amplitudes in the planar-transverse optimal frame which have, to a high degree of accuracy, the feature previously observed in a variety of strong interaction processes, namely that these amplitudes are relatively real or imaginary with respect to each other. This fact provides additional and even more definitive evidence for the existence of this yet unexplained property of strong interactions
