Study of the thermalization process in 72 MeV (p,3He) and (p,4He) inclusive reactions

Description
Energy spectra and angular distributions of the (p,3,4He) reaction on 27Al, 58Ni, 90Zr, 209Bi and 232Th are analyzed in the framework of a moving hot source model. The characteristic parameters of the source, temperature and velocity, are deduced. Level density parameters a=1/8ATH have been obtained, where ATH is the mass number of the moving source. (orig.)
