Description
The report on the quality of water in 1991 is the result of an extensive evaluation of assessment of the characteristic water conditions in the area of responsibility of the Environmental Ministry in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, which have to be considered as inventory for the water quality of running waters, standing waters and coastal waters. The political aim of the provincial government with regard to water proctection is to achieve the water quality of grade II. The results show a wide but not discouraging gap between the goal set and the realities. (orig./BBR)

Der Gewaesserguetebericht 1991 ist das Resultat einer umfassenden Aus- und Bewertung der hauptsaechlich im Zustaendigkeitsbereich des Umweltministeriums Mecklenburg-Vorpommerns erhobenen Wasserbeschaffenheitsdaten, die als Bestandsaufnahme der Gewaesserguete der Fliess-, Stand- und Kuestengewaesser zu betrachten ist. Gewaesserschutzpolitisches Ziel der Landesregierung ist es, fuer alle Fliessgewaesser die Gewaessergueteklasse II zu erreichen. Die vorgelegten Ergebnisse verdeutlichen, dass zwischen dem gesteckten Ziel und den Realitaeten eine gewaltige, aber nicht mutlos machende Luecke klafft. (orig./BBR)Additional details
