Une des principales caracteristiques de la politique menee par le France en matiere de production d'energie nucleaire reside dans la standardisation pour la construction et l'exploitation des tranches. On presente les principaux aspects et resultats de cette politique, dans les domaines techniques. Sur ce dernier plan, on fait ressortir la competitivite du nucleaire par rapport aux sources d'energie fossile
