Heterogeneous equilibria in the systems Sr(OH)2-NaOH-H2O and Sr(NO3)2+2NaOH ↔ Sr(OH)2+2NaNO3-H2O at 25 deg C

Description
Isothermal method (25 deg C) is used to study solubility in Sr(OH)2-NaOH-H2O and Sr(NO3)2+2NaOH↔Sr(OH)2+2NaNO3-H2O systems. It is shown that in Sr(OH)2-NaOH-H2O system dehydration of Sr(OH)2x8H2O to anhydrous takes place. In quarternary mutual system the compound crystallization fields are limited. It is shown that reaction is shifted to formation of Sr(OH)2x8H2O strontium hydroxide
