Description

A major goal of the future Large Hadron Collider will be the Higgs boson search. In this paper the discovery potential is described as a function of the Higgs mass showing that a Standard Model Higgs boson can be discovered after less than two years of running of the collider. The MSSM Higgs searches and the precision achievable on the measurement of the Higgs boson parameters are also discussed. (author)
