Description

Worldwide distribution struggles around scarce energy ressources and the climate change with its consequences lead to global, national, regional, and also local challenges, which are objects of this publication series. The contribution of this series shall fathom out chances and hindrances of a preventively oriented energy and climate policy in front of the background of complex energy-political and economical interests and power structures. Main theme topics are the analysis of the European and international liberalization of the energy sectors and branches, the international policy for the protection of the climate in the development, threshold, and industry countries, the production of biogenic fuels for the substitution of fossile energy carriers, or the problems of the atomic energy and their nuclear inheritance. The series offers to empirically guided, quantitative and internationally comparative works, studies of cross-border transformation and multi-level processes or of national best-practice examples just so a forum as to theory-guided studies, which deal with the fundamental questions of social change in the energy policy and in the climate protection.
