Development of EPR spectroscopy of the d-element coordination compounds at the Kurnakov Institute of general and inorganic chemistry, Russian academy of sciences
Description
Coordination compounds of transition elements (Hf, V, Nb, Mo, Re, etc.), in which at least one ligand is chelate, have been studied by the EPR method, the results are presented. Effect of the coordination sphere composition, geometrical structure and substituents in chelate ligands on the character of metal-ligand bond; electron delocalization in molecules; stabilization of unusual oxidation states of metal atom in the coordination compounds and other problems are discussed
