B physics at DOe

Description
DOe has measured B production in the semi-muonic final state at the Fermilab Tevatron. Cross sections for b-quark production are found to be a factor of 2-2.5 higher than theory in the central rapidity region and ∼4 times higher than theory in the forward region. Data taken at √(s)=630 GeV show similar features. Upgrades to DOe will significantly enhance the ability of the experiment to address the central issues of b physics
