Effect of structure peculiarities of rapidly quenched R33Fe67 alloy on hysteresis properties

Description
Magnetic properties and structural state of rapidly quenched R33Fe67 (R-Sm, Tb, Ho, Er, Dy) alloys were studied. Considerable difference of coercive force for Fe alloys containing light and heavy rare earth elements was associated with crystallization peculiarities of peritectic type. Maxima values Hc were achieved in Sm33Fe67 alloys. Explanation of high-coercive state and unusual magnetic behaviour of the alloys was suggested with regard to morphological peculiarities of nonequilibrium structure
