Determination of alignment tensor components for the H(2p) charge exchange excitation in proton-argon collisions
- 1. Bielefeld Univ. (Germany, F.R.). Fakultaet fuer Physik
Description
Alignment tensor components have been determined for the H(2p) charge exchange excitation in proton-argon collisions at an incident proton energy of 1.5 keV, and scattering angles THETAsub(s) = 4.30, 4.90, and 6.00. It is demonstrated that the measured photon angular distribution cannot be described in terms of only lambda and chi parameters. (orig.)
