Description
Emergency Action Levels (EALs) are regarded as basis of emergency classification for nuclear power plant. This paper introduces the evolution of EAsL, as well as the characteristics of EALs for each nuclear power plant in China. Among these EALs, the differences thereof are compared and analyzed, and then several problems are discussed. Based on the comparison and analysis of Emergency Action Levels, some discussions are made on the problems of Chinese nuclear power plants' EAL such as radiation monitor alarm setpoint, failure of fission product barrier, adoption of extemal procedure and emergency classification for multiunit sites.
