Lateral displacement of a survival nucleon in an air shower
Description
Lateral displacement of a survival nucleon in an air shower is evaluated. Dependence on transverse momentum and inelasticity is discussed. It is suggested that the multi-cored structure of the extensive air shower could be interpreted in terms of random walk of the survival nucleon. (auth.)
