Description
High-spin positive-parity states in 23Na with J > = 11/2 have been calculated with the generator coordinate method and with mixing of projected Hartree-Fock determinants, using the Preedom-Wildenthal two-body matrix elements. Calculated excitation energies, transition rates and static moments are compared with those obtained by untruncated shell-model calculations. The rotational structure of these states is also investigated. (author)
