The (9Be, 8B) reaction and the unbound nuclide 10Li
- 1. California Univ., Berkeley (USA). Lawrence Berkeley Lab.
Description
Counter-telescope and recoil-coincidence techniques were employed to study the 9Be(9Be, 8B)10Li reaction at 121 MeV. A cross section of approximately 30 nb/sr (c.m.) was observed, indicating a 10Li mass excess of 33.83+-0.25 MeV. This corresponds to 10Li being unbound to 9Li+n by 0.80+-0.25 MeV. (Auth.)
