Description

By prolongation of the slowing time of the electrical drive motor an upgraded emergency cooling performance for the reactor is guaranteed for the preceding coolant recirculating pump of a boiling water reactor. Moreover additional supply openings for the feedwater are saved by using the only equipment hatches on the reactor vessel for this purpose. (TK)

Abstract (German)

Mit der Verlaengerung der Auslaufzeit des elektrischen Antriebsmotors wird fuer die vorgestellte Kuehlmittelumwaelzpumpe eines Siedewasserreaktors eine erhoehte Notkuehlungseigenschaft fuer den Reaktor gewaehrleistet. Weiterhin werden zusaetzliche Zuleitungsoeffnungen fuer das Speisewasser erspart, indem die einzigen Montageoeffnungen am Druckgefaess dazu benutzt werden. (TK)
