Effect of growth of mean transverse momentum of secondary particles on the violation of scaling and on the propagation of cosmic rays through the atmosphere
- 1. P. N. Lebedev Physics Institute, Academy of Sciences of the USSR
Description
The increase in mean transverse momentum of secondary particles with increasing collision energy is shown to enhance the scaling violation effect. This is accompanied by an improvement in the agreement between calculated and experimental data on the propagation of cosmic rays through the atmosphere
